4. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

A vehicle condition report will be completed and both parties will sign it. Please return the vehicle in the same condition as it was collected, accounting for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed and charged accordingly. 5. Coverage and Responsibility

There may be options for additional insurance to lower your financial liability, so it's beneficial to review these thoroughly. You will be liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess, except where additional insurance applies. Any damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violations of these Terms remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance coverage.

Cancellation and Modifications

Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For precise information, please check your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Note that late cancellations or failure to show may incur additional charges.

Prohibited Activities

Prohibited uses of the rental vehicle:

• The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-road driving, or any dangerous maneuvers. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or allowing unauthorized drivers is not permitted. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purposes and within the specified passenger and weight limits. Driving outside the agreed geographical boundaries requires prior authorization.

Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.

Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire St Helens will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the rental amount paid in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent activities.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the relevant courts in this region.
